Mack hated moving. Since the day he was born his family would constantly move, staying no longer then three years at a home. Mack’s mother was a famous physiatrist and would have many home calls in different places, so the easiest thing for her to do was to move shortly and help her patients. She didn’t just deal with people who had simple problems like being depressed and such, but people who were truly insane. These people were incredibly wealthy and came from wealthy families who would look down on such a place as an insane assylum there fore canceling the fact out for going to a hospital. Instead they would be recommended to Mack’s mother.
“Mack!” A voice yelled from the cellar. Mack startled from his nap woke up to see who called. “Yeah?” Mack yelled then waited for a reply. Getting out of his chair he wearily headed down his cellar stairs. “It’s time to go, do you have everything packed? Shoes, clothes, video crap?” Mack’s mother replied. “Yea, I’m petty sure I got everything considering my room and pretty much everywhere in the house is empty, besides the chair.” He said with a sarcastic voice. “You better watch yourself, some day your gonna regret your attitude. Plus you won’t win the ladies with that type of smart alacyness.” “Chill out Ma. You know I’m just trying to lighten the mood up. Anyways, are we meeting Dad at the new place?’
“Yes we are. He should be there already. Hopefully he’s fixed the lights so we could at least finish packing. You ready to go?”
“Yup, ready as I’ll ever be”
“We’re off!”
Mack and his mother left their old, empty house and were off to their new home.
Ch.2-The accident
The house was huge, with red walls and black shutters. It was fenced in with a six foot fence and surrounded by what seamed to be endless valley of woods. Till this day Mack had never seen the home before and was amazed. “Why such a big home and where did my parents get the money to buy it?” Questioned his mind. He decided not to ask his parents because they would probably tell him soon. There was something about the mansion that gave Mack an eerie feeling, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. They were pulling up to the garage when they spotted Mack’s father on the roof. Mack’s mother got out of the car to see what her husband could be doing.
"Honey what are you doing?"She asked." Just finishing up the flood lights dear,I'll be done in a sec.."He said but was distracted by a strong wind."You'd better be careful, now get down, I think a storm is comming." Macks father stopped working on the light and started to head down the later but before he knew it another gust of wind came and knocked him down falling over forty feet to the ground."Dad!" Mack yelled. He got out of the car and to his father who layed motionless on the ground. "Stan!Oh my god he's not moving.Stan!Mack call 911 now!"she said franticly. He grabbed the cell phone from his pocket and dialed the number. A half an hour later the ambulence came and loaded his father into the vehicle."Mack, I have to go with your father, stay here and watch over the house. You remember Meg right?"Meg was his mother's old friend whom lived in the next town over."I'm going to call her and tell her to come here to keep you company.Just stay here until she gets here.Do you understand?"she asked. "Mom, I want to come with you, please dont leave me here. What if.." he began to say but was interupted. "Dont worry, everything is going to be ok.She should be able to make it here within an hour"she said as tears fell down her face.Mack looked at his mother with tears aswell in his eyes and helped her into the ambulence to join his still motionless father. He watched the ambulence drive away. It was dark now considering they got the new home close to dusk.It started to get cold so Mack went inside the quiet home.
Ch.3
Home..
He was amazed at how the home had such a beauty in the inside.Stepping from the threshhold he enterd the living room that lead to a grand staircase. The floors where wood and the walls were covered in what looked to be antique red and black curtains. He still couldn't understand how his parents could afford the home and woudered why they would get such a place if they were only to stay no more then three years.Walking from the living room he decided to go up the stairs to find a room for himself.
The second floor was more glorious then the first floor. The floor like the first floor was covered in wood but also in persian rugs. The walls were a crimsin color with giant windows covered in velvot and silk rose curtains.Looking to his right he noticed a long hall with a total of two shut doors on each side of the hall a good width apart, and to the left of him another fleet of stairs leading to the attic.Seeing how he wanted to find a room he went to the right and threw the first door."Geez, this must be the master room.Mine!"he said as he ran into the room and jumped on the king sized bed he had never seen before. He layed on the bed facing the ceiling and began to cry. He didn't want to be alone and wanted someone to be with him durning this though time. "When is Meg comming?I want to be with my family." he thought to himself. His dad was his best friend considering he didn't want to make any because he would only have to move again. He didn't want to think the worse so he began to think of all the goodtimes he and his father shared. This made him a little happier and at ease making him fall asleep.
Mack layed fast asleep until he was awaken by a very cold breeze. He then sat up and looked around him.He wasn't sure where he was for a second then came to himself and relized he was at his new home and the accident wasn't a dream."Mack" a voice called from the hall."Meg?I'm in here, hold on I'm comming"he yelled across the room. The voice didn't reply back.Opening the door he looked out into the hall and couldn't see anyone. He then headed down the stairs."Meg, where are you?"He was back in the living room and still no sign of anyone.Walking around the livng room her heard steps from above him, then a door slamming.Starlted by this he paused unsure what to do.Sweat began to poor, his heart started to race."Come on, if thats you Meg you need to show yourself. Please!"he yelled while heading back up the stairs.Looking down the hall he noticed all the doors were open and figured the door that slammed was in the attic. He looked up the stairs and saw that the door was closed. He went up the stairs and opened the door.
"It's so cold."he thought to himself."Hello?"he yelled as he stepped into the dim room. The room was bare with an old chair from his old house and a photo album he had never seen before. He walked over to the book and started to look through it but was distracted by the door slamming.Mack jumped startled by the noise and headed out the door.He then ran down the stairs to the hall and to the room he fell asleep in.Scared he busted the light and hide under the covers trying not to breath hard so whoever was in the house wouldn't find him."Ca clunk, Ca clunk"A sound came from the hall, then his door knob began to slowly turn.
He began to wisper,"Oh god please dont let it get me, oh god"The sound got closer and closer to Mack, then stoped. He began to shack. It was silent for a short while then the sound started up again but seemed to be moving away, then the door shut.He had never been as scared as he was at this moment in his entire life.He slowly started to pull the covers down his face. He looked around to see if anyone was in the dark room.He noticed a shadowy figure in the corner of hte room from the gleeming moon. His heard sank into his stomach."God cant help you!Mahhahahaaa!"A shadowy figure yelled from the corner of the room and leaped toward Mack.
"Ahh, get away from me!"He yelled while jumping out of the bed and exiting the door to the hallway. The shadowy figure chased after him while laughing in an evil manner. He got managed to run down the living room stairs and to the front door.He tried and tried to open the front door but it didnt budge. The shadowy figure stood right behind Mack.Turning around he faced the figure. It stood six feet tall and was shaped like a person but looking at the face was clearly not.It had skin but no features exept for a guiant mouth that was filled with huge sharp teeth. No eyes, nose, nothing but the smile of horrid teeth. The creature opened his mouth and sunk his teeth into Mack's arm.He let out a loud shreek of pain. The front door then opened revealing Meg and she was holding a giant ax.Without hesitation she flung the ax into the creatures head causing it to gush uncontrolably.Grabbing Mack they both ran out the door to her car and drove away.
Ch.4
Truth
They drove with incredible speed down the road and to the hospital where Mack's father was taken from the accident. He looked over at Meg with confusion, she stopped the car and grabbed a rag from her dashbord compartment then gave it to Mack who put it over his wound.
"How did you know?"he asked.
"Your mom is truely a messed up person. That thing in there was one of her former patients that was killed. That's right, that was a soul that was not at ease when he died.Your mom had been seeing that patient on and off for three years trying to help him and his problem. You see, this individual would lurr his maids in the atttic and torture them.He thought they were his toys and when they wouldn't want to do what he said he would hurt them and in the end result almost kill them. His parents knew what was going on and couldn't bare to lose their only son so they bribed the maids that they could with large sums

Romeo, You'd better take it all, they'll tell you what they know but they won't show. Romeo, You've got something in your soul, you need to be alone while you suffer. Romeo, you'd better wait to shine, they'll tell you what is mine but they'll take yours.
